More families than ever need our help. Get updates about our ongoing expansion on South Temple here.
A three-phase construction plan is scheduled from October 2026 through December 2027.
We are adding a new wing with 21 additional guest rooms, as well as other renovations and site improvements.
Up-to-date information about street closures and other possible obstructions will be available here.
You can sponsor a variety of rooms at the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms in select Utah hospitals. Your room will reflect the level of your support for an entire year.
Those who make a personal annual gift of $1,000 or more become part of a remarkable group called the “Cornerstones of Love Grand Givers.”
Whether by making a one-time contribution or spreading your gifts throughout the year, you create a lasting and meaningful impact.
Your generosity can extend far beyond your lifetime. Planned gifts help sustain the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms, ensuring families always have a place to rest, heal, and stay close.
Don’t forget to Round Up each time you eat at McDonald’s. Your change stays in the Mountain West area, directly supporting your local chapter! Our partner owner/operators also donate a penny per Happy Meal, a penny per pound of fries, and a quarter for each Shamrock Shake. This adds up to over $1 million each year!
Our main parking lot on M Street will be closed.
Staff and construction workers: Park in lots outside of the immediate area whenever possible, and be shuttled to the property. Sites include the Masonic temple.
House guests: Park cars in hospital lots where possible. Our shuttles will convey families back and forth.
We understand the parking constraints of the neighborhood and are working to minimize impact whenever possible.
We want our vulnerable guests and our neighbors to remain safe and comfortable throughout the project.
Construction noise will be limited to 9 AM to 6 PM on weekdays.
Our builders are using specialized construction methods to reduce dust. Debris will be removed daily.
The new wing will be added to the north west side of the building, above the parking lot. This will provide more rooms for more families and direct building access to our beautiful backyard park, while preserving precious parking lot space.
Designated staff will be assigned to answer questions and receive and respond to concerns in a timely way.
