Ways to Give

Your donation helps Ronald McDonald House Mountain West families feel at home. Even when they can’t be.

Donate now or learn about our giving programs below. Whether you sponsor a room, become a Grand Giver, or include us in your planned giving, every dollar provides stability, comfort, and hope to families who need it. Thank you for your generosity!

In-Kind Donations

From paper towels to playroom toys, ordinary items make an extraordinary difference. In-kind donations help keep our House and Family Rooms running smoothly, so families can focus on what matters most—being together.

Stock Our Shelves

A lot of food grows on trees, but we still need your donations to get that food on our shelves! The Stock Our Shelves program gives donors a chance to help keep our families nourished at the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms.

Open Hearts, Open Doors

You can sponsor a variety of rooms at the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in select Utah hospitals. Your room will reflect the level of your support for an entire year.

Grand Givers

Those who make a personal annual gift of $1,000 or more become part of a remarkable group called the “Cornerstones of Love Grand Givers.”

Whether by making a one-time contribution or spreading your gifts throughout the year, you create a lasting and meaningful impact.

Planned Giving

Your generosity can extend far beyond your lifetime. Planned gifts help sustain the Ronald McDonald House and Family Rooms, ensuring families always have a place to rest, heal, and stay close.

Give at McDonald's

Don’t forget to Round Up each time you eat at McDonald’s. Your change stays in the Mountain West area, directly supporting your local chapter! Our partner owner/operators also donate a penny per Happy Meal, a penny per pound of fries, and a quarter for each Shamrock Shake. This adds up to over $1 million each year!

Does your employer match donations?

The impact of your gift could be doubled or possibly tripled thanks to employers with matching gift programs. To find out if your company has a matching gift program, please enter your employer’s name below and follow their gift instructions!

Other Ways to Give:

Our Pop Tab program is one of the most popular ways to get kids involved. From grade school classrooms to scout troop drives and summer camp projects, it’s easy to start a collection. Carefully pull aluminum tabs off soda, soup, and other cans, and deliver them to the Ronald McDonald House in Salt Lake City! We collect recycling proceeds by the pound.

(Note: We cannot accept mailed tabs.)

Each year, energetic individuals, businesses, community groups, and students generate the resources we need to keep Ronald McDonald House running. From golf and basketball tournaments, to bike races and 5K’s, you can take the initative for your community.

Please review our Fundraising Guidelines and contact our development director Stephanie Stevens to get started.

Enlist your community to donate toiletries, snacks, toys, food, holiday items, and more! Email volunteer@rmhslc.org for more information.
